C4--CHRISTIAN CRUSADERS COMMITTED TO CHRIST!
Our youth group consists of youth grades 6-12. They have recently decided to name their group and they took it upon themselves to find a name that was fitting for them! The name they have chosen for themselves is C-4 which stands for Christan Crusaders Committed to Christ! C-4 is a form of dynamite and these teenagers are a true example of what it means to be an EXPLOSION FOR CHRIST! They are the best group of teenagers out there and they're "the bomb" like "tick tick BOOM DYNAMITE!"
The bible verse they chose to represent themselves is 1 Timothy 4:12. "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."
C-4 Youth Group meets twice a week! First we meet every Sunday usually from 4:00pm-6:00pm for our weekly youth meeting where we have a Bible study/Devotional, work on upcoming activities and plans, and hang out and enjoy each other's company.
We also meet every Wednesday night from 6:00pm-8:00pm for a Contemporary style Church service. We worship our Lord and Savior through Contemporary sermons and music. We also sit down together as a family and eat together followed by free time for games (basketball being the reigning group favorite.)
Family! That is what we are! Our youth are a very special group of teenagers because of their family bond. They function as a family! They laugh together, cry together, praise together, hurt together, hang out together in and outside of Church, and most importantly they PRAY together! And yep...they fight like a family too! They take care of each other and are there for each other in a very special way that is a blessing to witness!
